18, 1964 at Wayne's Restaurant.
Chairman Brown welcomed Dr. Marshall back after
his leave of absence. Dr. Marshall expressed his
appreciation to Dr. Freeman for his capable managing
of the Health Department during hisleave of absence.
He reported two staff changes. The resignation of
Mrs. Ella Herriage, effective July 1st, and the
replacement by Eric Perkins as salitarian for the
Migrant Health Program. Dr. Marshall advised that
he was in contact with the State Health Department to
determine elgibility of a nurse, in this area, to fill
the senior nurse position.
Current bills were presented. Ray Blair moved
bills be approved for payment..second Joe Mayo.,
motion carried.
Dr. Marshall advised the need for submitting a
budget to the City and County. He recommended adding
the cost of T B film as such was no longer available
from the State Health Department. Chairman Brown
appointed Mike Kirk, Randall Heye, Ray Blair to
serve as the budget committee. Such committee to
work with Dr. Marshall and present a budget to the
Board at the next regular meeting.
Dr. Marshall gave an interesting report of his
visit to medical and physical rehabilitation hos-
pitals and centers in New York State.
Meeting adjourned. Members attending: Edgar
Brown, Joe Mayo, Mike Kirk, Ray D. Blair, Judge
Abernethey, Mayor Hood, Dr. Marshall.
