BUDGET AMENDMENT - POLICE
ORDINANCE NO. 94-3026
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 94-3019, AS SUCH PERTAINS
TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND COMMUNITY ORIENTED
POLICING SERVICES GRANT.
WHEREAS, on September 27, 1994, through the adoption of Ordinance No. 94-3019,
the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas, adopted the 1994-1995 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the budget is a general guideline for revenue and expenditures and may
require periodic amendments; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview Police Department was selected to receive an award
under the Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Program; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined a need to establish a Department 57 of
the General Fund for accountingpurposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Plainview,
that the 1994-95 Budget is amended as follows:
