Er cka Jathan talked about the state -funding contracts for imtnumzations, administration, and environrnental departments. She mentioned that most of the grants would stay the same. The immunization grant at $45,33-3 and the environmental /administration. at $69,600. She said the only change would reflect the immunizations and that is the travel expenses. Currently that amount is $3242 and was decreased to $89&. The reason for this change is that there are two nurses who usually attend immunization conferences_ Since -they stay between Amarillo and Lubbock, there -is no need for so much in travel. The difference between the two, which is $2,344, was put into the personal line. That amount changed from $31,663 to- $34,007. The immunization -contract also now states that the nurses who work overtime may claim time and a half. The voting was approved on the signing of the contract. Dr. Hinze moved the -motion and Margaret Kay second the motion. Ericka Jathan also talked -about a possibility on a smoking program starting in September. It would begin with the YMCA Fun Club.
