At a meeting of the City Council of the City of Plainview, held at
the City Hall in the City of Plainview, on Septembem 20, 1971, a quorum
of the members of the Council being present, on motion duly made and
seconded, the following Resolution was unanimously adopted,
RESOLUTION
BE IT ~SOL'~D that the City of Plainview, pursuant to Article 2351a-1,
V.R.T.S., enter into a renewal contract with Hale County, Text, for fu~ish-
lng fire protection outside the city limits upon the s~e te~s as entered
into for the te~ from September 30, 1969 to September 30, 1970, s~ject how-
ever, to the addition of a provision to the,effect-that either party may
cancel and resinate the contract upon 30 days written notice to the other.
