AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
AMENDING SEC. 24-160 SCHOOL ZONE DESIGNATING
QUINCY STREET BETWEEN WEST 13TH STREET AND
WEST 16TH STREET AS A SCHOOL ZONE.
WHEREAS, Section 24-160 School Zone of the City of Plainview Code of Ordinances
designates portions of certain streets located within the City limits of the City of Plainview,
Texas, as school zones and provides maximum limits of speed for operation of any type of
motor vehicle within said school zone, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview, Texas, has determined it would be
in the best interest of the public to amend Section 24-160 to designate Texas 194 (Quincy
Street) between West 13th Street and West 16th Street in the City of Plainview, Texas as
a school zone.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Plainview,
Texas, that:
Section 24-160 of the City of Plainview, Texas, Code of Ordinances, shall be, and the
same is hereby amended as follows, to wit:
(c): by adding to (c) those portion or portions of streets in the City of Plainview, Texas,
designated as school zones the following:
Texas 194 (Quincy Street) between West 13th Street and West 16th Street.
