The Plainview Hale County Board of Health met Thursday
October 5, 1967 at the Alcove Restaurant, Chairman Mayo
presiding.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.
Dr. Weidenback presented current bills and reviewed
Health Department activities. Action of Commissioners
Court reducing their participation in 1968-69 Health Dept.
budget $7,500.00 was discussed. Dr. Weidenback stated that
he would serve as acting director thru December 31st, 1967.
Oliver Harmel made the motion that Dr. Weidenback's
statement to continue as acting director thru Dec. 31st
be noted and that he be extended a vote of confidence by
the Board of Health for his services. Second Edgar Brown..
motion carried.
Ray Blair made the motion that representatives from
the Health Board visit with the Commissioners Court. The
time would be determined at the convenience of the Court.
Second Oliver Harmel..motion carried.
Meeting adjourned. Members attending: Dr. Randall
Heye, Judge Abernethy, Edgar Brown, Ray Blair, Dr. Ray
Freeman, Mayor Hood, Marshall Pharr Oliver Harmel, Dr.
Carl Weidenback.
