The Plainview Hale County Board of Health met
Thursday March 14,1968 at the Alcove Restaurant
in a regular luncheon meeting, Joe Mayo pesiding.
Members attending: Judge Abernethy, Clifton
Martin, Dr. Gerald Wagner, Mary Lou Truesdale,
Ray Blair, Edgar Brown, Mayor Hood, Marshall
Pharr.
Minutes of the previous meeting were read
and approved.
Chairman Mayo welcomed Dr. Wagner to his first
meeting and expressed the appreciation of the
Board for his services as acting director of the
Health Department.
Dr. Wagner presented current bills and dis-
cussed plans for maintaining services of the
Health Unit and expanding in the future.
Edgar Brown moved bills be approved for
payment..seoond Ray Blair..motion carried.
Mrs. Truesdale reported that Mrs. Louise
Weathers would begin duties as clerk the 18th
of March.
No further business, meeting adjourned.
