The Plainview City Council met on Thursday, March 8, 2012 at the Plainview
Convention Center, 2902 West 4 Street, Plainview, Texas. The agenda for this
meeting was posted in City Hall at 11:15 a.m. March 5, 2012. Mayor John
Anderson presided. City Council members present were: Dr. Charles Starnes,
District 1; Cathy Waggoner, District 2; David Garcia, District 3; V.O. Ortega,
District 4; Wendell Dunlap, District 6; and Roland Nash, District 7.
Staff members present were: Greg Ingham, City Manager; Leslie Pearce, City
Attorney; Jeffrey Snyder, Assistant City Manager; Chief William Mull, Police
Department; Rusty Powers, Fire Chief; Sarianne Beversdorf, Finance Director;
Mike Gilliland, Public Works Director; Daniel Born, IT Specialist; and Katherine
Egger, Deputy City Secretary.
Media Present: Jessica Thornton, Plainview Herald
Mayor Anderson called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m.
1. Councilmember Wendell Dunlap led the invocation.
2. District 5 Councilmember Ron Trusler was an excused absence.
3. Council and staff reviewed the items for the March 13, 2012 City Council
meeting.
4. There being no further business, Mayor Anderson adjourned the meeting
at 12:10 p.m.
