ORDINANCE NO. 88-2767
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS,
ACCEPTING THE IMPROVEMENTS OF SOUTHWEST THIRD
STREET IN THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS; PROVIDING
FOR THE CORRECTION OF THE ROLLS AND ESTIMATES
THEREOF; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS
ORDINANCE.
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview received notice by letter of
October 18, 1988 from the State Department of Highways and Public
Transporation that the improvements along SouthWes~ Third .JStreet
have been completed; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 87-2711 required the City of Plainview
accept the improvements prior to collection of the assessments.
NOW, THEREFOr, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Plainview:
Section 1. That the portion of Southwest Third Street
designated as Unit No. 87-1-1 in Ordinance No. 87-2694, to wit:
Southwest 3rd Street from Interstate Highway No.
27 to Columbia;
has been improved in accordance with the plans and specifications
thereof and as required by law. The City has examined and
inspected the completed improvements and it is hereby found that
said work and improvements have been performed and completed in
compliance with the terms of the contracts, plans, and
specifications and the same are hereby accepted and approved by the
City.
Section 2. The City hereby accepts and approves the Final
Paving Assessment Engineer's Roll as complete and correct as such is
is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by
reference.

Section 3. This ordinance shall be come effective upon its
final passage as allowed by law.
