ORDINANCE NO. 99-3209
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW AMENDING
ORDINANCE NO. 98-3186 TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS IN THE
WATER AND SEWER FUND IN THE 1998-1999 BUDGET TO
RENOVATE THE MILWEE LIFT STATION.
WHEREAS, on September 28, 1998, through the adoption of Ordinance No. 98-3186, the Plainview
City Council approved the 1998-1999 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the Budget is a general guideline for revenue and expenditures and may require periodic
amendments; and
WHEREAS, the Plainview City Council has determined a need to budget funds to make renovations
to the Milwee Liit Station.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW HEREBY ORDAINS that the 1998-1999
Budget is amended to appropriate $156,000 in the Water and Sewer Fund entitled Sewer System
Improvements.

Section II
Provisions of this ordinance are cumulative and nothing herein shall prevent, alter or diminish the
applicability or enforcement of other ordinances restricting, regulating or governing the subject matter
herein.
Section III
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance is for any reason held
invalid or unconstitutional by any court competent jurisdiction, such portion shall be deemed a
separate, distinct and independent provision and such holding shall not affect the validity of the
remaining portions hereof.
Section IV
All ordinances or portions of any ordinance of the City of Plainview, Texas in conflict herewith, are
hereby amended to conform with the provision hereof.

Section V
This ordinance shall be of full force and effect upon its passage.
