Council Chambers, City Hall, 901 Broadway The meeting was called to order by chairperson, Lynn Davis. Other board members present were: Leroy Lightfoot, Eddie Sessions and Betty Gonzales. Staff present were: Larry Gould, Building Inspections Department; Jim Lindstrom, Building Inspections/Code Enforcement Department; and Janice Anderson, Secretary, Community Services. B. A. CASE NO. 1140: Request of Gary Abercrombie for the following variances required in Section 32 and Section 34: Two (2) foot variance of the thirty (30) feet required front yard setback required in Section 32; e One and one-half foot variance of the twenty-five (25) feet required rear yard setback required in Section 32; Twelve (12) foot of the twenty (20) feet required side yard setback for garage entrance from alley as required in Section 34:4 (4); For the placement of a house being Lot 64 and 65, Westridge Park, No. 3 and generally located at 504 Mesa Drive. Larry Gould presented the case to the board. There was one reply to the case. Dr. Abercrombie stated the building would be used to store a tractor. After a short discussion Leroy Lightfoot moved, seconded by Betty Gonzales to grant the request as stated. Motion carried unanimously. B. A. CASE NO. 1141: Request of Lee C. Coffey for the following variances required in Section 32 and Section 34: Six and on half (6½) foot of the fifteen feet required rear yard setback for a one story wing; and Four (4) foot of the required ten feet for a carport entering from the side yard adjacent to a street; and Five (5) percent of the required fifty (50%) percent of rear yard coverage.
