The City Council met on June 18, 2015 at 11:50 a.m., at the Plainview Convention Center,
2902 W. 4T" Street, Plainview, Texas. The Agenda for this meeting was posted in the City
Hall at 11:10 a.m. on June 15, 2015. Mayor Wendell Dunlap presided. Councilmembers
present were: Charles Starnes -District 1, Larry Williams -District 2, Norma Juarez -District
3, Teressa King -District 4, Susan Blackerby-District 5, Lionel Garcia -District 6.
Councilmember Eric Hastey-District 7 was absent.
Staff members present were: Jeffrey Snyder -City Manager, Andrew Freeman -Assistant
City Manager, Ken Coughlin -Police Chief, Rusty Powers -Fire Chief, Mike Gilliland -
Director of Public Works, Sarianne Beversdorf-Director of Finance, Isauro Gutierrez -
Information Technology Specialist and Grace Derrick -Deputy City Secretary.
News Media Present: Homer Marquez -Plainview Herald and Caleb Hatch -Plainview

Guests present were: Mike Fox and Stacie Hardage
Councilmember Susan Blackerby led in the Invocation.
Councilmember Eric Hastey was granted an excused absence.
In the announcements, City Manager Jeffrey Snyder updated the Council on conditions
of streets damaged by May rains, particularly 13th and 14th streets.
Review of City Council agenda items for the June 23, 2015 City Council meeting was
presented by Jeffrey Snyder, City Manager.
There being no further business, Mayor Dunlap adjourned the meeting at 12:15 p.m.
