PARK ADVISORY COMMISSION
BOARD MEETING MINUTES
Office of
Support Services
The City of Plainview Park Advisory Board as appointed by City Ordinance Number 95-3035
dated as approved March 28, 1995, held an open meeting at 4:30 P.M., Thursday, April 13, 2000,
in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 901 Broadway Street, Plainview, Texas. Minutes for this
meeting are hereby submitted as follows.
ITEM
1. Call to order by Chairperson Mrs. Davis at 4:37 P.M.
2. Invocation given by Mrs. McDonald.
3. Members present were: Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Kiser, Mrs. Luna, Ms. Riggins and Mrs.
McDonald.
4. Members absent were: Mrs. Walker and Mrs. Wall.
5. No guests were present.
6. City Staff present were: Mr. Rusty Reese, Park Superintendent.
7. March's meeting minutes were given by Mrs.Davis and approved as read.
8. Old Business -
a. Review playground drawings. Members reviewed drawings and decided by
unanimous decision to wait until last drawing was viewed to take action in the May
meeting. No action taken.
9. New Business -
a. Select date for Arbor day celebration. Tree planting date is set for April 20, 2000,
at 10:00 A.M., in the tree nursery.
10. Next meeting is scheduled for May 4, 2000.
11. Meeting adjourned at 5:05 P.M.
