Plainview Hale County Board of health met in regular ,session September 24th1=1981.-
Those present were:- Oliver Harmel, Bud Law, Anthony Lyons;M,D. Larry Karr , '&.D,.
C.M. Baldwin, D.D.S. James Belk, Hugh H. Wilson, Jr. , .M.D. , Mary Lou' T uesdale.,
R.N., Rachel Castillo, and media representativ, .Tiro; Davis.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Larry Karrh., M.D.
First in order of business was the approval of the m nutea. Motion was made by
Mr. Law that they be approved as circulated, seconded by Mr. Belk. The motion
carried.
Second order of business was the payment of the outstanding bills. Dr. Baldwin
made the motion that they be paid, Mr. Law seconded it and the motion carried.
Dr. Karrh then asked for a report from the nominating committee. Mr. Law gave
the report for the committee•. They recommended that Dr. Karrh continue as Chair-
man and Dr. Baldwin as Vice -Chairman. Mr. Harmel made the motion that they be
accepted by acclamation. Dr. Wilson seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Then Dr. Karrh asked for a report from Mrs. Truesdale concerning the Fee Schedul-
ing. She summarized the responses to the letter asking about the fees. After
some discussion Dr. Karrh appointed a committee to study this further and report
at the next meeting. The committee will include: Dr. Baldwin, Dr. Wilson, Dr.
Lyons and Mrs. Truesdale. He asked Dr. Baldwin to chair the committee.
The next order of business was the report from Dr. Lyons who said that he had
nothing to add at this time.
At this time the board went into executive session to discuss a personnel matter.
No action was taken.
Dr. Wilson made a motion to adjourn the meeting. It was seconded and the motion
carried.
