Rosa Lie McMurtry has worked a few weeks since Lee has been out. Peggy Huggins has been hired as a Community Service Aide (combination of Community Service Aide and clerical worker at this time). The Region has informed them if they withdraw from Hale County Services and go with inspections made out of the region, that the cost would be $204.00 per inspection for regular personnel to come in and do their inspections. The fee figured from Hale County Health District is $1320.00 annually for 8 Food Service Establishments (inspected 2 times a year) and 1 privately owned Community Swimming Pool inspected 1 time a month during operating season. There was a lengthy discussion regarding the existing Hale County Health District building and possibility of renovation of existing building or renovation of another building (due to existing building getting extremely critical for space and also due to several building code violations). Dr. Abercrombie requested excused absences for Lewellen Hooper, Dorothy Tilson, and Mr. Lanny Voss. Motion made by Donna Womble and second by Dr. Kit Linton allowed the absences. There was no other business. Meeting was adjourned. Isabel Rodriguez Secretary I
