After the completion of the Internal Assessment we will report to the board the findings. Chairman Voss told board members that because of Public Health increasing, and the awareness we have of Public Health Needs, as it affects the school district, it also affects all of us. He also stated that we have city and county representatives on the board and that John had suggested that we select a representative from the Plainview Independent School District as an Ex Officio member for the Board of Health. Mr. Voss said that it would be appropriate and timely for the board to consider John's suggestion. After a discussion, a moticm by Donna Womble, and a second to this motion by Dr. Linton, carried by a vote of the board to create an Ex Officio position to be filled by a representative from the Plainview Independent School District. Chairman Voss presented a plaque of appreciation to Dorothy Tilson for her many years of service to the Health Board.
