BUDGET AMENDMENT
ORDINANCE NO. 05-3441
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW AMENDING
ORDINANCE 04-3425 TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FROM THE
GENERAL FUNDS RESERVES TO ACCOUNT 001-50-6301;
CUMULATIVENESS CLAUSE; CONFLICTS; CLAUSE; SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE; EFFECTIVE DATE.
VVHEREAS, on September 28, 2004, through the adoption of Ordinance No. 04-
3425 the Plainview City Council'.approved the 2004-2005 Budget; and
VVHEREAS, the Budget is a general guideline for revenue and expenditures and
might require periodic amendment; and
WHEREAS, the Plainview City Council has determined a need to release budget
funds for replacement of the sump pumps in the basement of the library;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW HEREBY ORDAINS that the
2004-2005 Budget is amended to appropriate $5,101.00 from General Fund Reserves to
Account 001-50-6301.

Section II
Provisions of this Ordinance are cumulative, and nothing herein shall prevent, alter, or
diminish the applicability or enforcement of other C)rdinances restricting, regulating, or
governing the subject matter herein.
Section III
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this ordinance is for
any reason held invalid or unconstitutional by any court of competent jurisdiction, such
portion shall be deemed a separate, distinct, and independent provision, and such
holding shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions hereof.
Section IV
All Ordinances or portions of any Ordinance of the City of Plainview, Texas, in conflict
herewith are hereby amended to conform with the provision hereof.

Section V
This Ordinance shall be of full force and effect upon its passage.
