~=~AS, the Surplaa ~;iarketing Ad=.~inistratibn, an ~gency~ of
the United States Department of Z~gricult=re. referred to as the
Administration, H~le" CoUnty. Texans and the dity'o£"Plai~view, 'have
entered into an ~greement and contract, the Administration on the
one hand and the County and City on the other, for the purpose o£
installing and operating what is kuown as the Food Stamp" Plan in
Ptainview and Hale County; and
~HERE~, the Administration has prepared such agreement in
~O
£ive ori~inal copies; ~- be executed by the City and County on the
one hand and the Administratiom on the other; and
~HEREAS, ~ai~ agreement, as prepared, has b~en duly read
and considered bY the City Jomncil of P15inview, ~exe$, and it
appears to the said City Council of ~tainview, Texas, that said
agreement contains the provisions amd conditioz%s heretofore agreed
upon between the parties and that the terms thereof are acceptable
in ~ll respects to City of Pl~inview.
N0~ T~LERE~0RE, be it resolved by the City 0ouncil o£ The
City of Pl~inview, Texms, that the execution of said contract by
John P, Dubose in behalf of the City of Plminview i~ hereby in
things approved, and ratified.
And that his signature be certified and attested by j.
