The motion was carried and the~.:~esolution follows. Resolution No. 461 ~WHEP~AS, at a joint meeting of the City Council of the 0ity o£ Plainview, Texas, and the Co~m~issioners Court of Hale County, Texas, held on the 18th, day of September, 1940, it wc~s determined that it is to the best interests of the City of ?lainview and Hale Ceunty ~1~o purchase jointly land suitable for a City-0ounty Airport; and u? pon such dertermination it was .agreed that the City amd County pur- chase a.. tract o£ ~23-4/5 acres, ~the property of I~rs.
