It hms hemn further considered by the City Council that appoint- ments to be made for the year t9~4E should be made upon a reco~enda~ tion of a committee of five fro~ the Bo~rd and a cor~nittee of fi~e from the Chamber of Commerce, acting jointly, Such committee shall designate 15 citizens of Plainview and subr~i~ such names ~o the_City Coun~il, from Which the appointment o£ f£ve~will be made for the suc- ceeding year. The ~ity Atto~rney is directed to draw an amendment to the present ordinance relating to the Board so that the same shall conform te the provisions of this resolution,, such amendment to be submitted to the City Council for consideration at-its regular meeting on December 16th, On motion of Alderman Kiker'and seconded by Aldermen Peer, Hancock.
