notice is as follows.
Resolution NO. 501
IT IS ORDERED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAIN-
VIEW, THAT AN ELECTION BE ~LD AT THE CITY HALL IN SAID
CITY OF PLAINVIEW on the first Tuesday in April, 1945, the
same being the 3rd day'of said month, for the election of the follow-
ing officer's, for ~id ~ity, to wit:
TWO ALDER~8~N FOR A TERM OF TWO ~ARS EACH $o take the places
of C.H.Hancock and W.C.Malone whose terms expire in April, 19~5, And
T.J.Boney is named presiding Judge of said election and Roy Maxey is
named Assistant Judge and Mrs. Guy Jacob is named Clerk.
A copy of this' notice signed by the Mayor and Attested by the
City Secretary shall serve as a notice of said election and shall be
posted and published as required by law.
PASSED THIS 5th- day of Marqh,~ 1945.

Motion by Alderman 0sborne,~.:second~d b~ Alderman Hancock, that
W.J.Klinger be appointed to aud~he Cmty's books, and the fee for
the service to be $~P~-~ The motion was carried and it was sooord-
ered.
Motion by Alderman Osborne, seconded by Alderman Fregge, that the
Electrician's Bond of J.N.Bley and E.H.-Da~is ~e approve~, w~h the fol-
lowing proviso attached, "All work shall be aone accoramng ~o city ord-
inace and regulations". The motion was carried and ~t was so ordered.
Motion b~ Alderman Osborne, seconded by Alderman Smity, that the
city Treasurer be and he is her..eby authorized ahd instructed to pay the
City,s half of the -Airport note" now held by the Hale County State
Bank, the amount of which is $5,808.09. The motio$ was carried an~ it
was so o~dered.
