AN ORDIANCE ESTABLISHING RATES FOR ELECTRIC ENERGY TO BE SUPPL%ED FOR
MUNICIPAL STREET LIGHTING SERVICE TO THE CITY OF PLAIN-VIEW BY SOUTHWESTE~
PUBLIC SERVICE COMPANY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY' COUNSIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW:
SECTION 1: That the schedule Of rates for Municipal Street
Lighting Service furnished the'City of Plainview by Southwestern Public
Service Company, is hereby established and shall be as follows:

*Applicable to both bracket type and post top luminares.
**When City owned pole is used or a contribution by customer is made
for steel poles, the rate shall be the applicable wood pole overhead
rate.
***When underground is installed by City, the rate shall be the steel
pole overhead rate.
FUEL COST ADJUSTMENT:
7,000 lumen lamp use 66*-.~.kwh per month
20,000 lumen lamp use 154' kwh per month
35,000 lumen lamp use 2~S~ kwh per month
50,000 lumen lamp use 38S* kwh per month.
*kwh on lamps is based upon 4,100 hours of burning time per year.
The charge per lamp of the above rate shall be increased or de-
creased 0.0065 cents per kilowatt hour (based on the above use per month)
for each 0.5 cents increase or decrease, or major fraction thereof, in
the delivered cost of fuel per 1,000,000 Btu at all of the Company's
generating stations above or below 60.0 cents per 1,000,000 Btu during
the second preceding month.
SECTION 2: Except as herein expressly amended all rates heretofore
established by Ordinance of the City of Plainview, shall remain in effect.
