.ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the Cily of Plainview finds it is necessary to appropriate certain specific
funds out of Revenue Sharing Fund Account 427
funds for an approved project, and this ordinance deals'with the daily
operation of City departments in the public interest which creates an emergency: NOW, THEREFORE,
BE iT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF PLAINVIEW:
There is hereby appropriated ou~ of the following described
Revenue Sharing Fund Acct. 427
The sum $ ]6,280
fund, to-wit:
For the following purpose: Payable to General Fund Accto 607
For new equipment:
f, central recorder $3,000.00
a) electric typewriter $ 800.00
b) new uniforms 2,600.00
c) van (investigation
operations) 5,000.00
d) radio & misc. 1,900.00
e) painting & repair bldg. 1,500.00
WHEREAS, an emergency exists as shown in the preamble tothis ordinance, the enactment of this ordi-
nance is declared to be an emergency measure thereby creating a public necessity that the rule requiring
proposed ordinances to be presented at two (2) separate Council meetings be dispensed with; and this ordinance
shall be effective from the date of its passage.
