Home My WebLink About79-2305 ord79-2305 AN ORDINANCE MODIFYING THE OBLIGATION OF PIONEER NATURAL GAS COMPANY TO EXTEND MAIN LINES TO SERVE NEW CONSUMERS WHO USE NATURAL GAS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS WHEREAS, Pioneer Natural GaS Company, a division of Pioneer Cor- poration, has requested that the City of Plainview modify Pioneer Natural Gas Company's obligation to extend its main lines to serve new consumers within the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Plainview after due consideration, has determined that such request of Pioneer Natural Gas Company should be granted; NOW=, THEREFORE, be it ordained by tire City Council City of Plainview, Texas: of the THAT Pioneer Natural Gas Company ("Grantee"), at its expense, shall lay and extend all service connections with the gas mains and pipes to the property line of the consumer but Grantee shall not be required to extend main lines more than seventy five (75) feet to any one consumer. II. THAT all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to the extent of the conflict. III. THAT this ordinance shall take effec~t and be in force from and after its passage and approval as provided by law, provided that Pioneer Natural Gas Company accepts in writing the terms of this ordinance within thirty (30) days after being notified of the passage hereof. Territory Abernathy, Amherst, Anton, Big Spring, Bovina, Brownfield, Canyon, Coahoma, Crosbyton, Dimitt, Earth, E~monson, Floydada, Forsan, iriona, Hale Center, Happy, Hart, Hereford, Idalou, Kress, Lake Ransom Canyon, Lake Tanglewood, Lamesa, Levelland, Littlefield, Lockney, Lorenzo, Lubbock, Headow, Midland, Huleshoe, Nazareth, New Deal, New Home, Odessa, O'Donnell, Olton, Petersburg, Plainview, Post, Quitaque, Ralls, Ropesville, Seagraves, Seminole, Shallowater, Siiverton, Slaton, Smyer, Southland, Springlake, Stanton, Sudan, Tahoka, Tulia, Turkey, Vega, Welch, Wellman, Whitharral, Wilson, Wolfforth, and in the rural areas outside of these cities and towns. Rate Tile monthly bills shall be computed at the following rate: Net Gross First 1 Mcf or less per month $4.0000 $4.4444 Next 3 Mcf per month @ $2. 4094 per Mcf $2. 6771 per Mcf Next 6 Mcf per month @ $2.2481 per Mcf $2.4979 per Mcf All Over 10 Mcf per month @ .$2. 1487 per Mcf $2. 3874 per Mcf TILe rates stated above shall be adjusted upward or downward each month by the amount the current monthly average cost of gas to the Company for its West Texas Transmission System is more than or less than 152.33¢ per Mcf at 14.65 psia (141.41¢ at 13.6 psia). Changes per Mcf in the average cost of gas shall be computed to the nearest one-hundredth cent (.01¢) above or below 141.41¢ and such changes shall be applied to each Mcf of gas billed hereunder. Prompt Payment Provision: The above net rate includes a 10% discount for payment of bills within 15 days after issuance. For all bills paid after such period, the gross rate will apply. Effective Date: Effective for gas delivered 'on and after ]February 15, 1979. PIONEER NATURAL GAS COMPANY West Texas Service Area SMALL INDUSTRIAL RATE 'Availability This rate is applicable to the sales to any industrial Consumer having need for gas service up to a specified maximum hourly connected load with service interruptible in conformity with Provision No. 3 of Terms and .Conditions. Territory - West Texas Service Area Rate The monthly bills shall be computed at the following rate: Net Gross First 50 Mcf per month @ $2.0774 per Mcf $2.3082 per Mcf Next 50 Mcf per month @ $1.9638 per Mcf $2.1820 per Mcf All Over 100 Mcf Per month @ $1.8605 per Mcf $2.0672 per Mcf Minimum Monthly Bill: $25.00 - net The rates stated above shall be adjusted upward or downward each month by the amount the current monthly average cost of gas to the Company for its West Texas Transmission System is more than or less than 152.33¢ per Mcf at 14.65 psia (141.41¢ at 13.6 psia). Changes per Mcf in the average cost of gas shall be computed to the nearest one-hundredth cent (.01¢) above or below 141.41¢ and such changes shall be applied to each Mcf of gas billed hereunder. PIONEER NATURAL GAS COMPANY We~t Texas Serviae Area LARGE GAS AIR CONDITIONING AND/OR ELECTRIC GENERATING GAS SERVICE -Availability This rate is available to customers who require gas service for 50 tons or more of gas air conditioning equipment or for 100 KW or more of gas driven electric generating equipment or any combination thereof that has alt least the equivalent of 50 tons of gas air conditioning equipment or 100 KW of gas driven electric generating equipment. This rate schedule 'does not apply to municipally owned power plants. Territory - West Texas Service Area Rate The monthly bills shall be computed at the following rate: Net Gross Gas used per month $1.8021 per Mcf $2.0023 per Mcf Minimum Monthly Bill: $100.00 - net The rates stated above shall be adjusted upward or downward each month by the amount the current monthly average cost of gas to the Company for its West Texas Transmission System is more than or less than 152.33¢ per Mcf at 14.65 psia (141~,~1¢ at 13.6 psia). Changes per Mcf in the average cost of gas shall be computed to the nearest one-hundredth cent (.01¢) above or below 141.41¢ and such changes shall be applied to each Mcf of gas billed hereunder.
