AN ORDINANCE P.~MENDING ORDINANCE NO. 83-2530A ESTABLISHING RATES
OF WHICH THF:P.I~ULANCE SERVICE MAY CHARGE 'WITHIN THE INCORPORATED
LIl~'I'S OF T~~ CITY OF PLAIlWIEW, TEXAS.
BE IT ORDAII~EIED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS:
SEC'PION l: That the rates set out in this ordinance hereby amend
Ordinanc:e No. 84-2530A and establish maximum rates to be .charged for the
purpose of operating ambulances in the incorporated city limits of the
City of Plainview, Texas;
SEC'T'ION 2: The holder of a franchise granted for the purpose of
operating ambulances in the City may charge not to exceed as follows:
a) Hospital Transfers per Ca1:1 - $70.00
b) Emergency Calls per Cali - $85.00
They fact that there is a public necessity Ito provide adequate and
normal ~~ervice to the citizens of the City of P:Lainview and to provide
for sufficient funds to furnish for the preserv<~tion of the public
health, safety, and general welfare this ordinance shall be passed, take
effect and be in full for"ce from the date of passage being November 27,
1984.
