AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 82-2478 AND THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF PLAINVTEW SO AS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING CHANGES: ZONE CASE N0. 530: Request of the City of Plainview for rezoning a 28.866 acre tract of land .from a R-1 (Single Family Residential}. Zoning District to a MF-2 (Multiple Family Residential} Zoning District, described as follows: Being a 28.866 acre tract out of the N.W. part of the S.1/2 of the N.W, l/4 of Survey No. 38, Block JK-2, Hale County, Texas: BEGINNING at a 3/8 inch steel rod in the east Right-of-Way line of Quincy Street, said rod being 37.5 feet east and 535.0 feet N.0°02'40"E., of the S.W. corner of the N.W.l/4 of Survey No. 38, Block JK-2; 'Thence East, '794.85 feet to a 3/8 inch steel rod at the N.E. corner of a 10.2.25 acre tract, as recorded in Vol. 633., Page 151, of the Hale County Deed Records; 'Thence South, 2.20.0 feet to a 3/8 inch steel rod at the N.W. corner of Unit 7, Thunderbird Addition, as recorded in Vol. 440, Page 447, of the Hale County Deed Records; Thence East, 63.0.0 feet along the north line of said Addition to a 3/8 inch steel rod in the west Right-of-way line of Lexington Street, as dedicated in Vol.. 432, Page 57, of the Hale County Deed Records; Thence North, 1005.15 feet along the west Right-of-way line of Lexington Street, to a 3/8 inch steel rad in the north line of the S.l/2 of the N.W.1/4 of said Survey No. 38; Thence N.89°58'55"tnl., 1424.24 feet along the north line of the S.1i2 of the N.W.l/4 of said Survey No. 38, to a 3/8 inch. steel rod in the east Right-of-way line of Quincy Street; Thence S.0°02'40"W., 785.6 feet along the east Right-of-way line of said Quincy Street, to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 28.866 acres, and located in the 3300 block of North Quincy. That Ordinance NO. 82-2478 and the Official Zoning Map be and the same are hereby amended as follows, to-wit: ZONE CASE NO. 53©: Being a 28.866 acre tract out of the N.W. part of the S.1/2 of the'N.W. l/4 of Survey No. 38, Block JK-2, Hale County, Texas: BEGINNING at a 3/8 inch steel rod in the east Right-of-Way line of Quincy Street, said rod being 37.5 feet east and 535.0 feet N.0°02'40"E., of the S.W. corner of the N.W.1/4 of Survey No. 38, Block JK-2; Thence East, 794.85 feet to a 3/8 inch steel rod at the N.E. corner of a 10.225 acre tract, as recorded in Vol. 633, Page 151, of the Hale County Deed .Records; Thence South, 22.0.0 feet to a 3/8 inch steel rod at the N.W. corner of Unit 7, Thunderbird ..Addition, as recorded in Vol. 440, Page 447, of the Hale County. Deed Records; Thence East, 630.0 feet along the north line of said Addition to a 38 inch steel rod in the west Right-of-way line of Lexington Street, as dedicated in Vol . 432 , Page 57 , of the Hale County Deed Records; Thence North, 1Q05.15 feet along the west Right-of-way line of Lexington Street, to a ;3 /8 inch steel rod in the north line of the S.1/2 of the N.W.1/4 of said Survey No. 38; Thence N.89°58'55"W., 14.24.24 feet along the north line of the S.1/2 of the N.W.l/4 of said Survey No. 38, to a 3/8 inch steel rod in the east Right-of-way line of Quincy Street; Thence S.0°.02'40"W., 785.6 feet along the east Right-of-way line of said Quincy Street,. to the POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 28.866 acres, and located in the 3300 block of North Quincy. City of Plainview, Hale County, Texas, from an R-1 (Single Family Residential} Zoning District to a MF-2 (Multiple Family Residential) Zoning District. From the date of this Ordinance, said lot, tract and parcel of land described shall be and hereby be changed to the Zoning District indicated and the official Map is amended in accordance herewith. SECTION 2. Upon passage of this Ordinance on first reading, the City Secretary be and is hereby authorized and directed to cause to have published in the Plainview Daily Herald, a daily newspaper of general. circulation in the City of Plainview, Texas, a notice that a public hearing shall be held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall in Plainview, Texas, at 7:30 o'clock P.M., on the 11th day of March,. 198.6 to permit the public to be heard prior to consideration of this Ordinance for second and final reading, said publication to be made more than fifteen (15) days prior to the time designated for such public hearing. PASSED on first reading this, the 11th day of March, 1986. A notice of time and place where and when said Ordinance would be given a public hearing and considered for final passage was published in the Plainview Daily Herald, a daily newspaper of general circulation in the City of Plainview, Texas, said publication being on the 9th day of March., 1986, the same being .more than fifteen (15) days prior. to the time designated for .said hearing.
