AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW REPEALING SECTIONS 22-16
THROUGH SECTIONS 22-20 OF CHAPTER 22, ARTICLE II ENTITLED,
"PARKS AND RECREATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE," OF THE CODE
OF THE-CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, Article II of Chapter 22 of the Code of the City of
Plainview, Texas established an Advisory Committee for Parks and
Recreation purposes;
WHEREAS, the City of Plainview has completed the .Parks'
development stage and a need no .longer exists for the Parks Advisory
and Recreational Committee to continue in its present format.
NOW THEREFORE be it ordained by the City Council of the City of
Plainview, Texas that Section 22-16 entitled, "Created;" Section
22-17 entitled, "Composition;" Section 22-18 entitled, "Terms;"
Sec',tion 22-19 entitled, "Mandatory Attendance Requirement;" and
Sec',tion 22-20 entitled, "Voting. Members," all of Article II entitled,
"Advisory Committee," which is a part of Chapter 22 entitled, "Parks
and Recreation" of the Code of the City of Plainview, Texas is hereby
repealed.
