FEBRUARY 12, 2018
The Zoning Board of Adjustment held a special public hearing ph Monday, February 12, 2018 at
6'00 p.m. The meeting took place in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 901 Broadway, Plainview,
Texas, with the lelowing members present.

STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT: Nick Mogg, Corks Enforcement, Judy Rasher, Community
Service Secretary.
Mark Hartlin opened the meeting at 6'00 pre, established a connote and conducted the
consitleration of the following items In the order presented Nick Mogg read the staff reports, and
gave the recommendations for each from.

The applicant Is requesting a variance or special exception to construct a metal gable roof
20 ff. by 20 ft. carport (non-prefabncated) in the front-yab setback. Because the hone 1s
built behind the current required set back line the proposed concert would encroach
approximately 13th into the required minimum front yard setback of 2511. If approved, the
front edged the carportwould be 27f1. from the back of curb. Evan Weiss made a motion
to approve the variance based on the request. Danny Murphree seconded and the motion
was carried unanimously.

flat roof 24fl. by 24fl. carport (non -prefabricated) in the front -yard setback. The proposed
carport around encroach approximately 24fl. into the required minimum front -yard setback

Danny Morpheme made a motion to approve the variance based on the request. Even
Weiss seconded and the motion was earned unanimously.

Nlcole Ramirez made a motion to approve the variance based on the request. Evan Weiss
seconded and the motion was carded unanimously.
