prayer.
*Volunteer of the Month, Tara Walker was recognized.
* Minutes of the March 13th meeting were approved.
*Irma gave the financial report for February.
*"My Dad Reads to Me" has recorded 14 dads reading to 28 children and 62 books have
been shipped.
*The April Birthday Recognition will be on April 1 lth at McDonald's.
`Irma has submitted the 3 Year Grant Continuation report. Two other grant reports are
due by the end of April.
*The e Annual"National Service Recognition Day" on April 3rd was successful.
Volunteers helped package salt and sugar for FISH clients.
*The first Hike and Bike Trail cleanup of the year will be April 18a'.
*National Senior Corps week is April 30 to May 4.
*Lunch Bunch will meet on Thursday, April 26�'.
*All community gardeners from last year have been contacted and areas have been
reserved.
*Gary Stennett has set the date of Saturday, August 11"' for the 100' Annual RSVP Golf
Tournament.
*Ideas for a raffle were discussed.
*Runningwater Draw Care Center is celebrating their 25u' anniversary on April le.
.*Irma plans to attend the Texas Senior Corps Conference in San Angelo on May 21-23
and the National Senior Corps Conference in Washington, DC on July 16-18.
*The next meeting will be May 8, 2018.
*Twyla reported a total of 354 volunteers in January with 219 serving 5065 hours. In
February 211 volunteers served 4202 hours.
* Ballots for Volunteer of the Month were distributed.
*Meeting was adjourned.
