Center, 2902 W. 4th Street, Plainview, Texas. The agenda for this meeting was posted in
City Hall at 11:15 a.m. on August 6, 2018. Mayor Wendell Dunlap presided.
Councilmembers present were Nelda VanHoose-District 1, Larry Williams -District 2,
Norma Juarez -District 3, Teressa King -District 4, and Susan Blackerby-District 5.
Councilmember Oliver Aldape-District 7 was absent.
Staff members present were: Jeffrey Snyder -City Manager, Sarianne Beversdorf-
Director of Finance, Ken Coughlin -Police Chief, lsauro Gutierrez -Director of Information
Technology, Paul Kite -Assistant Director of Utilities, Melinda Brown -Main Street
Manager, Rachael Foster -Director of Human Resources, and Belinda Hinojosa-City
Secretary.
Mayor Wendell Dunlap delivered the invocation.
The Council granted an excused absence to Councilmember Oliver Aldape.
The Council and staff reviewed the agenda for the City Council meeting of August 14,
2018.
There being no further business, Mayor Dunlap adjourned the meeting at 12:44 p.m.
