Minutes * June 18, 2018 * 12 p.m.
The Board of Directors for the Plainview Firefighters' Relief & Retirement Fund held a meeting at 12 p.m.,
Monday, June 18, 2018, at Leal's Mexican Restaurant, 3311 Olton Road, Plainview, Texas. Action may be
taken on each agenda item.

OPEN MEETING• Called to order by Whisenant (cr), 12:12 .
1. Approval of old minutes. Motion made by Gipson to accept minutes for April 24th 2018 and
second by Beversdorf. All in favor and motion passed.
2. Consider personnel matters
a. Approval of new hires: NONE
b. Approval of refunds on terminating employees: Chief Rusty Powers: Retirement monthly benefit
is $5,329 33 and his first check will start on July 11t 2018. The drop amount is $155,572.64 and
will be rolled over to an investment account Both figures match payroll and PensionEZ.
Motion made by Gipson and second by Beversdorf with all in favor.
c. Approval of retirements: NONE
d. Approval of proper course of action on member deaths: NONE
3. Consider and take necessary action to approve authorized persons to sign for Frost Bank. Authorization
paperwork for Frost Bank completed and will be turned in as soon as possible. Authorized persons
are: Kevin Whisenant, Bobby Gipson, Tony Ramirez, and Sarianne Beversdor£ No vote was taken
due to officer positions listed in plan document at authorized contact persons. The paperwork for
Frost bank was only to update their records.
4. Review progress of mandatory training for new board members. No action taken.
5. Approve pending invoices for payment: NONE
6. Acknowledge deposits, if any. NONE
7. Announcements: Next meeting set for July 16th 2018.
