Plainview Convention Center, 2902 W. 4th Street, Plainview, Texas.
Mayor Wendell Dunlap presided. Councilmembers present were: Nelda VanHoose-
District 1, Larry Williams -District 2, Norma Juarez -District 3, Teressa King -District 4,
Susan Blackerby-District 5, Evan Weiss -District 6 and Oliver Aldape-District 7.
Staff members present were: Jeffrey Snyder -City Manager, Matthew Wade -City Attorney,
Sarianne Beve rsdorf-Di rector of Finance, Tim C rosswh ite-Di rector of Public Works, Ken

4. An Ordinance Amending Ordinance 19-3690 of the City of Plainview, Texas and
Amending the Zoning Map of the City Of Plainview as set out in 414.02.003 of the Code
of Ordinances by Changing from "General Commercial (GC)" to "Suburban Residential
(SR)" that Certain Tract of Land out of Lots 5 and 6, Block 2, Brandes Subdivision of
Blocks 35 and 36, West Boswell Heights Addition and Block 83, College Hill Addition to
the Town of Plainview, Hale County, Texas (1003 Amarillo Street); Providing a Penalty
Providing an Effective Date; Providing a Savings Clause; and Providing for Publication.

This Ordinance amends the zone change from General Commercial to Suburban
Residential in order to facilitate the sale of the residence located at 1003 Amarillo.
Motion: Move to adopt Ordinance No. 19-3695 on first reading
Motion by Councilmember Weiss, seconded by Councilmember Juarez
Vote: 8-0. Motion carried.
