6:30 p.m_., at the Plainview Convention Center, 2902 W. 4th Street.
Mayor Wendell Dunlap presided. Councilmembers present were Nelda VanHoose-
District 1; Larry Williams -District 2, Norma Juarez -District 3; Teressa King -District 4,
Susan Blackerby-District 5, Evan Weiss -District 6 and Eric Hastey-District 7.
Staff members present were: Jeffrey Snyder -City Manager,, Matthew Wade -City Attorney,
Jeff Johnston -Assistant City Manager, Ken Coughlin -Police Chief, Isauro Gutierrez -
Director of Information Technology,. Sarianne Beversdo rf-Di rector of Finance, Melinda
Brown=Main Street Manager and Belinda Hinojosa-City Secretary.

This agreement would authorize the -professional services for the runway crack seal 443
project at the Plainview -Hale County Airport: The total estimated cost of the project is
$112,500 including:professional services.

Motion: Move to authorize Mayor to sign the Professional Services Agreement
between. Parkhill Smith and Cooper, City of .Plainview and Hale County for -the Joint Crack
Seal Project at the Plainview -Hale. County Airport

6. .Authorize demolition :and installation of cabling at City Hall and the installation and
purchase of surveillance camera system and access control system at City Hall by-ACI -
Advanced Connections Inc. through the TIPS Purchasing Cooperative, Contract -No.
200:1:05

The new City Hall project is under construction and portion of the work is establishing
network connections throughout the City Hall building:for computers, telephone, camera
and -printer. systems. This. project will authorize -the work.to proceed for ACI .to demo the
existing outdated low; voltage cabling and installation of neW-CAT6 data cabling at a cost
of up to $50;000.
The next part of the :project. includes :the new Access Control. System in the City Hall
Building for exterior andAnterior doors. The total estimated cost of this. part of the project.
is $28,095 and will be funded through the Court Security Fund.
The last part of the project includes a new Surveillance. Camera System throughout the
.City Hall building for exterior .and interior coverage area locations. The total estimated
cost.of the.project is $34,197 and will be funded through,the Court Technology Fund.

The -new City Hall project is under construction and portion of the work is:the installation
of broadcasting equipment for :the New City Council Chambers.. The new equipment is
designed. to format content digitally and record sessions to -have the -ability to incorporate
our website. The PEG channel's new equipment can :be utilized to broadcast public
service announcements on rotation. This project will authorize the work to proceed for
SWAGIT to instaii the camera system, equipment and software to provide content to PEG
channel and web in the amount of $61,808..

This portion of the project for the new city hall is the audio functions of the microphones
and:.displays within the City=Council Chambers and throughout the conference rooms.
The project will. be funded through. the PEG- Fund 037 at the amount of $160;992.94.

Plainview/Hale County Airport between Rocket Aviation, Hale County- and the City of
