6:30 p.m., at the Plainview Convention Center, 2902 W. 4th Street.
Mayor Wendell Dunlap presided. Councilmembers present were Nelda VanHoose-
District 1; :Larry Williams=District 2, Teressa King -District 4; Susan Blackerby-District 5,
Evan Weiss=District 6 and Eric Hastey-District 7. Councilmember Norma Juarez -District
3 was absent. Councilmember Eric Hastey arrived at:6:48 p.m.
Staff members present were: Jeff rey Snyder -City Manager, Matthew Wade -City Attorney,
Jeff Johnston -Assistant City Manager, Ken Coughlin -Police Chief; Isauro Gutierrez -
Director of Information Technology, 9arianne Beversdorf-Director of" Finance, Melinda

Tax .Rate. for Fiscal Year 2020-2021 and Schedule Public Hearings

Reviewed proposed budget and tax rate for upcoming year.

Motion: Move to consider a proposed tax rate of .8418 for -the FY 2020=2021'Budget
and schedule the. public hearing, on the tax rate and budget for Tuesday-, September 8th,
2020 at 7:00 p.m. at the. Plainview Convention Center, 2902 W. 4th Street.
