Plainview Convention Center, 2902 W. 0 Street.
Mayor Wendell Dunlap presided. Councilmembers present were Nelda. VanHoose-
District 1, Larry Williams -District 2, Norma Juarez -District 3; Susan Blackerby-District 5,
Evan Weiss:District 6 and Eric Hastey-District 7: Councilmember Teressa King -District 4
was absent.

Motion: I move the adoption of a :property tax rate of eighty-four and eighteen
hundredths cents ($.8418), which: is less than the :No. NeW Revenue Maintenance and
Operations Tax Rate and which. represents the.sixty-three and twelve hundredths, cents
($.6312) approved by the City Council :for maintenance and support of the General Fund
and twenty-one and six hundredths cents -($.2106) for interest and sinking fund as
approved by the voters. - Ordinance No. 20-3707 on second reading.
