Council Members present were Nelda VanHoose- District 1, Larry Williams=District 2, Teressa King -District 4, Susan Blackerby-District 5, and Evan Weiss -District 6. Council Members Norma Juarez -District 3 sand Patra Moreno - District 7 were absent. Staff members:present were: Jeffrey. Award of Bid Ito purchase :City Fleet Vehicles Presenter: Jeffrey Snyder, City Manager Authorize purchase of Utility Truck in Water & Sewer Maintenance department for-2021 Ford F-350 44 Utility Truck in the amount of $37,880 and .rebid Mid -Size Commercial Truck - Public Comment: None Motion: Move to accept bid for 2021 Ford F=350 4x4 Utility Truck from Randall Reed Prestige in the amount of $37,880 and :reject the Randall Reed Prestige bid on the 2021 Commercial Ford F-1:50: because it does not meet specs for mid -size pick-up Motion by.Mayor Pro Tem. Assistant Director of Utilities Authorize Agreement with SC Tracking Solutions for -Backflow/Customer- Service Tracking and FOG Applications Public Comment: None Motion: Move to accept agreement with SC Tracking Solutions and the City of Plainview for Backflow/Customer Service Tracking and FOG -Applications Motion by:Council Member Williams, seconded by Council Member Weiss Vote: 6-0. Motion carried. 10. Consider Aareement for Economic Growth and Developmental Service; the City of'Plainview and the Plainview/Hale County Economic Development C and authorize Mayor to sign Presenter: Jeffrey Snyder, City Manager City Council Minutes December 8, 2020 Page 3 of 4 490 This is for $40,000 and one cent of property tax rate of $82,660 to promote economic development in community. Convene into closed session -pursuant to Texas=Gov't Code.4551.072 to deliberate the :purchase, exchange, lease or value of .real property, the public discussion .of which would not be, in the, best interest..of.the City's bargaining position with third' parties.
