Mayor Charles Starnes presided. Council Members present were Nelda VanHoose- District 1, Larry Williams -District 2, Norma Juarez -District 3, Teressa King -District 4, Susan Blackerby-District 5, and Evan Weiss -District 6. Council Member Patra Moreno - District 7 was absent. .Staff members .present were: Jeffrey Snyder -City Manager, Jeff Johnston -Assistant City Manager, Matt Wade -City Attorney, Isauro Gutierrez -Director of Information Technology, Derrick Watson -Chief of Police, Tim Crosswhite-Director of Public Works, Bobby Gipson - Interim Fire Chief, Bill Bridgwater -Police Captain, Manuel: Balderas-Police Captain, Jaime Salinas -Police Lieutenant, Cody Ward -Police- Lieutenant and: :Belinda Hinojosa-City Secretary.. An Ordinance Amending ,the City of Plainview, Texas Code of Ordinances Article 5.02 "Fire Department", By Amending Section 5.02.005, "Certification Pay" And Section 5.02.008, "Additional Pay" As They Apply to Certain Classifications of Emergency Medical Technicians and by Providing for Additional Pay for Quality. Assurance Assignment; Providing .an Effective Date; Providing A Savings Clause; Providing A. Repealer and Providing for: Publication.
