HomeMy WebLinkAboutCouncil Minutes 02-03-2022110 The City Council of the City of Plainview met on February 3, 2022 at 11:30 a.m., at City Hall, 202 W. 5th Street, Plainview, Texas. Mayor Charles Starnes presided. Council Members present were Larry Williams -District 2, Norma Juarez -District 3, Teressa King -District 4, Susan Blackerby-District 5, Evan Weiss -District 6, and Lorie Rodriguez -District 7. Council Member Nelda VanHoose- District 1 was absent. Mayor Pro Tern Blackerby was present via video conference. Staff members present were: Jeffrey Snyder -City Manager, Matt Wade -City Attorney, Jeff Johnston -Assistant City Manager, Isauro Gutierrez -Director of Information Technology, Sarianne Beversdorf-Di rector of Finance, Neil Weems -Assistant Director of Public Works, Tim Crosswhite-Di rector of Public Works, Bobby Gipson -Fire Chief, Kristi Aday-Economic Development Director, Melinda Brown -Main Street Manager, Elisabeth - Pi roli-Management Analyst and Belinda Hinojosa-City Secretary. Discuss amending Resolution R20-471 clarifying and/or implementing additional restrictions and regulations regarding the Public Health Emergency to contain and prevent the continued spread of COVID-19 (Resolution R22-549) Presenter: Jeffrey Snyder, City Manager Resolution extends Disaster Declaration until March 3, 2022. Public Comment: None Motion: Move to adopt Resolution R22-549 Motion by Council Member Juarez seconded by Council Member Williams Vote: 7-0. Motion carried.
