Invocation was given by Richard Dye. • The minutes of the April 12, 2022 meeting were reviewed. Sally made the motion and it was seconded by Bobbye to accept the minutes as written. Motion carried. • The March financial report was reviewed and accepted. • Charlotte reported that the grant was converted into the first year of a new grant. Due to the grant being changed to year one, we received a 90-day extension of the Federal Financial Report that covers the entire 36 month of the grant. • With the new grant year, we are now eligible to obtain the left -over funds from the three- year grant period. A request has been submitted to purchase new office furniture for the new office at City Hall with these funds- • The article, "What is RSVP", was submitted to the Herald. • Charlotte attended the Texas Senior Corps Association meeting in Waco, April 18-20, It was noted that RSVP hours are down about 401% state wide with the average volunteer age of 75. • Robert's Tree House donated three bags of tomato and vegetable fertilizer to be used at the community gardens. J'&J Garden Mart donated plants for the gardeners. • RSVP, Plainview 4-H and Plainview ROTC volunteers collected 640 pounds of trash on the Hike and Bike trail on April 201h, • RSVP assisted with the Drug Take Back held at Wayland on April 30th, • Charlotte received an invitation to apply for a grant with the Plainview Area Endowment. • A Performance Progress Report was submitted on April 29, • The City of Plainview 5 year "Capital Improvements Plan"was submitted which included a department accomplishments and objectives report. • We gained 5 new members in April. • The flyer and raffle tickets for the Rodney Watson print were distributed with the drawing to be held on June 14th • Irene presented the volunteer report for the month of March.- 351 volunteers reporting 3889 hours. • The next meeting is scheduled for June 14, 20,22, 10 The meeting adjourned.
