City Hall
The City Council of the City of Plainview met in regular session at 7:30 p.m.
in the City Council Chambers of City Hall with Mayor Bob Wayland presiding and the
following Councilman present: Carl Tillerson-Place One, Andy Taylor-Place Two,
Lloyd Woods-Place Three, Tom Almon-Place Four, and Tom Aday-Place Five.
Also present were the following City Staff members: John Hatchel-City Manager,
Harold Gladman-Director of Planning, Larry Mc~achern-Attorney, Bill Hogge-Director
of Public Works, Walter Dodson-City Clerk, Randy! Holly-Administrative Assistant,
Alan Stewart-Director of Polices Services, an¢

Mayor Wayland presented Resolution.No.. R81-356 authorizing payment No. 2 to
Panhandle Construction Company for Water & Sewer relocation and construction along
Interstate Highway 27. Bill Hogge explained. It was moved by Alderman Almon seconded
by Alderman Tillerson to approve the resolution. Motion carried unanimously.
Mayor Wayland presented Resolution No. 81-357 authorizing payment No. 2 to
Parkhill, Smith& Cooper, Inc. for engineering services in the relocation and construction
of Water & Sewer Improvements along Interstate Highway 27, and appropriating funds
from Water & Sewer Bond. Bill Hogge explained. It was then moved by Alderman Tillerson
seconded by Alderman Taylor to approve the resolution. Motion carried unanimously.
Mayor presented copies of Minutes from Authorities, Boards and Committees:
a) Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting, January 26, 1981, b) Planning & Zoning Commission,
Zoning Board of Adjustment~ January 22, 1981. No action was taken.
Mayor Wayland presented Departmental Reports: a) Building Inspection, b) Hotel
& Motel, and c) Fire Department. No action was taken.
Mayor Wayland presented the Budget expenditures for the month. It was moved
by Alderman Aday seconded byAlderman Tillerson to approve the budget expenditures.
Motion.carried unanimously.
It was moved by Alde~manAday-seconded by Alderman Tillerson to adjourn the
meeting.
Meeting adjourned at 8:00 p.m.
