Motion carried of a Public Hearing on new rates for the Cable der of the Chamber of Commerce Civic Center 'easibility study containing recommendations for Mayor Wayland presented Ordinance No. 81-2436 on first reading, changing parking from 60° to parallel in part of the 100 Block and all the 200 block of West 6th Street. Johnnie Ballew explained the need for changing the parking. It was then moved by Alderman Aday seconded by Alderman Woods to approve the Ordinance. PLAINV~EW CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING ~ge Two February 24, 1981 O0 012 Mayor Wayland presented Resolution No. R81-358 approving all loading zones within the City of Plainview. Johnnie Ballew explained the need to~.menew!al~i~l~.Q'ading zones in the City of Plainview. It was then moved by Alderman Aday seconded by Alderman Taylor to approve the ResQlution. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Wayland presented Resolution No. R81-359 appropriating $2,198.25 from Unappropriated Funds as payment to West Texas Culverts, Inc. for the purchase of?pipe for landfill. John Hatchel explained. It was then moved byAlderman Woods seconded by Alderman Aday to approve the Resolution. Motion carried unanimously. Mayor Wayland presented the Departmental Reports: a) Police Dept. b) City/County Health, c) Unger Memorial Library, d) Water Works, and e) Traffic Control. No action was taken. Mayor Wayland presented the Minutes from Authorities, Boards and Committees: Unger Memorial Library Advisory Commitee, January 5, 1981. No action was taken. Mayor Wayland presented the Budget Expenditures, it was then moved by Alderman Aday seconded by Alderman Woods to approve the Budget Expenditures. Motion carried unanimously.
