MINUTES
~ollday Inn 7:00 a.m.
The City Council met in a special meeting at 7:00 a.m. June 7, 1984
at the Holiday Inn with Mayor Ridlehuber presiding and the following
present: Barbara Dorman, Andy Taylor, Junior Brown, Bobby James~ and
John Hatchel.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Ridlehuber and delivered
the invocation.
City Manager John Hatchel announced his resignation as City Manager
to the City Council and stated that he would be moving to Waco to accept
the position of Deputy City Manager of that City. The Council had a
brief discussion and how to seek a replacement and requested that an
executive session be placed on the agenda for the regular Council
meeting on Tuesday, June 12th. With no further business pending, the
meeting was adjourned.

CITY COUNCLL WORK
June 7, 1984
11:30 A.M.
MINUTES
The Plainview City Council met in a Work Session Thursday, June 7,
1984 at the Plainview Country Club at 11:30 a.m. with Mayor Ridlehuber
presiding and the following present: Barbara DozIman, Junior Brown,
Bobby James, and Tc~ Aday. Also; John H~tchel, Hugh Anderson,
and Jack Kunz.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gene Ridlehuber and Police
Chief Hugh Anderson brief the Council on the many problems and steps be
taken to improve the situation at the Intersection of 1-27 and US 70.
City Manager John Hatchel presented the Axsenda for the next regular
Council Meeting to be held Tuesday, June 12, 1984. A lengthly
diSCUssion was held on the agenda, however, no action was taken.
With no further business pending, the meeting adjourned,
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 12th day of June, 1984.
