The Plainview City Council met in a regular Work Session, Thursday,
December 5, 1985 at the Plainview Country Club with Mayor Ridlehuber
presiding and the following present: Councilmembers; Andy Taylor,
Junior Brown, Tc~ Aday and Bobby James. Staff present; City Manager
Jim Jeffers, Norman. Huggins, Tc~ Hamilton, Bill Hogge, Roy Osborne and
Sheryl Owen. Visitors present: Kathy Donahue and Richard Orr.
City Manager Jim Jeffers present the following agenda items to be
on the Council A~enda for the regular meeting on Tuesday, December 10,
1985.
3) PUBLIC HEARING: Zone Case No. 525; Request of Rex Ramsower for
rezoning four tracts of land from MF-2 (Multi-family residential)
and R-1 (Single-f~mily residential) zoning district to CRD
(Cc~mercial Retail District) zoning district for cc~m~rcial uses
located in the 1200-1400-1600 blocks of North 1-27.
4) Consideration of Ordinance No. 85-2626-A, on second and final
reading, entitled, "An Ordinanc~ aman~g zoning ordinance no.
82-2478 and the official zoning map of the City of Plainview so as
to make the following change: Zone Case No. 525; Request of Rex

the City Council of the City of ~ew authorizing the Mayor to
execute an Animal Control ~/reement between the City of Plainview
and Hale County. ,,
f) Consideration of Resolution No. _R_85_-948 entitled, "A Resolution
the City Council of the City of Plainview appointing of
alternate to the Planning and Zoning Commission.,, a member and an
City Manager Jim Jeffers explained the situation with the stop
signs being reraoved at the intersection of llth Street and Ennis. It
was the consensus of the City Council to leave the signs down for the
present time.
With no further business pending the meeting ajourned at 12:45 p.m.
