The Cit~ Council met on March 22, 2007, at the Plainview Convention Center, 2902
West 4t Street, Plainview, Texas. The agenda for this meeting was posted in City Hall
at 11:00 a.m. on March 19, 2007. Mayor John C. Anderson presided. Councilmembers
present were: Cathy Waggoner-District 2, Belinda Pena-District 3, John N. Bertsch-
District 4, Ron Truster-District 5, Wendell Dunlap-District 6 and Roland Nash-District 7.
Councilmember Kelvin Tipton-District 1 was absent.
Staff members present were: Greg Ingham-City Manager, John Berry-Director of
Public Works, John Castro-Director of Community Services, Gary Glass-Fire Chief,
Dale Simpson-Director of Civil Service, Leslie Pearce-City Attorney, Will Mull-Police
Chief, Arthur Wall-Streets Superintendent, Jack Keller-Budget Manager, and Belinda
Hinojosa-City Secretary.
Guests present were: Mike Fox, David Evans and Carolyn Baker
News Media Representative: Richard Orr-Plainview Daily Herald
Councilmember Roland Nash delivered the invocation.
Councilmember Kelvin Tipton was granted an excused absence.
The Council and staff reviewed the agenda for the City Council meeting of March 27,
2007.
There being no further business, Councilmember Bertsch adjourned the meeting at
12:10 p.m.
