R86-996 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW, TEXAS AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF UP TO $6,000.00 FROM THE PARKS BOND FUND IN ORDER TO CORRECT THE DRAINAGE PROBLEM IN GIVENS PARK. WHEREAS, a drainage problem in the Givens Street Park has created a potential liability to the City of Plainview; and WHEREAS, it has been estimated that up to $6,000.00 is required in order to correct the drainage problem. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City Council of Plainview, Texas that $6,000.00 is appropriated from the Parks Bond Fund in order to make the necessary repairs to correct the drainage problem in Givens Park.
