RESOLUTION NO. R86-132
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLAINVIEW,
TEXAS APPROVING THE FINAL PLAT OF WESTRIDGE ADDITION, UNIT
NO. 7, PLAINVIEW, HALE COUNTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, on January 28, 1986, the City Council approved the
Preliminary Plat of Westridge Addition, Unit No. 6, Plainview, Hale
County, Texas, subject to certain stipulations which plat included
land now being platted as Westridge Addition, Unit No. 7, Plainview,
Hale County, Texas; and
WHEREAS, David R. Hodges, Jr. et al of Plainview, Texas has
submitted the Final Plat of Westridge Addition, Unit No. 7,
Plainview, Hale County, Texas along with all required Fees and
accompanying documents; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has reviewed said Final Plat and
has found that it contains all the items required by the stipulations
set forth for the approval of its Preliminary Plat and that it
conforms to the requirements of the Subdivision Regulations of the
City of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, all water pro rata and sewer pro rata payments have
been made for said addition; and
WHEREAS, all guarantees have been provided for street paving
and other improvements required by the City of Plainview for the
approval of the Final Plat of said addition.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the City
Council of Plainview, Texas that the Final Plat of Westridge
Addition, Unit No. 7, Plainview, Hale County, Texas, be and is hereby
approved subject to compliance with the subdivision regulations, the
Pro-Rata Ordinance and other ordinances governing the platting and
developing of land within the City of Plainview and its
extraterritorial jurisdiction..

Being a 1.148 acre tract out of the northwest part of Survey NO. 28, Block
JK-2, Hale County, Texas, as recorded in volume 731, page 217 of the Hale
Count~ Deed Records:
COMMENCING at a 3/8 inch steel rod found for the northwest corner of
Westridge Addition, Unit No. 6, as recorded in Volume 733, page 710 of the
Hale County Deed Records, at the southeast intersection of U.S. Highway No.
70, and Westridge Road, said rod being S.0"07'48#W. 60 feet and N.89°57'E.
37.5 feet from the northwest corner of Survey No. 28, Block JK-2, Hale County,
Texas;
Thence N.89°57'E. 9.28 feet continuing along said right of way fine to a
rod found for a point of curvature;
Thence ~outheasterly 979.06 feet continuing along said right of way line
around a curve to the right having a radius of 2,804.8 feet, a central angle
of 20°, a tangent of 494.56 feet, and a chord bearing S.80"03'E. 974.10 feet
to a rod found for a point of tangency;
Thence S.70°03~E. 1,142.82 feet continuing along said right of way line to
a rod found for a northeast corner of Running Water Draw Regional Park tract
as recorded in volume 510, page 595 of the Hale County Deed Records and the
POINT OF BEGINNING of the herein described tract;
Thence S.70°03'E. 100 feet continuing along said right of way line to a
rod found for the northwest corner of Block 1, Westridge Addition, Unit No. 2,
final plat recorded in volume 460, page 323 of the Hale County Deed Records;
Thence S.19°57'W. 500 feet to a rod found for the southwest corner of said
addition and being in a northerly line of said park tract;
Thence N.70°03'W. 100 feet along the northerly line of said tract to a rod
found for an interior corner of said tract;
Thence N.19°57'E. 500 feet continuing al6ng a line of said tract to the
POINT OF BEGINNING and containing 1.148 acres.
