WHEREAS, the properties currently located on the South side of zonedS°UthwestR-1 andThirdA-o;fr°mandQuincy Street to Interstate Highway No. 27 are WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Plainview to control the type of development that will take place along Southwest Third with the completion of it as a major thoroughfare; and WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission has recommended that the South side of Southwest Third be rezoned to a Commercial Retail designation; and WHEREAS, before said property can be considered for rezoning a series of public hearings must be conducted.
