RESOLUTION NO. R87-316
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COI3NCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLAINVIEW, TEXAS APPROVING THE PRELIMINARY PLAT
OF CITY ADDITION, UNIT NO. 2, PLAINVIEW, HALE
COIINTY, TEXAS.
WHEREAS, Mohsen S. Mousavi of Lubbock, Texas has submitted the
Preliminary Plat of City Addition, Unit No. 2, Plainview, Hale
County, Texas along with appropriate plat fees and necessary
information to the City Engineer of the City of Plainview; and
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of
Plainview on December 10, 1987, approved the Preliminary Plat of
City Addition, Unit No. 2, Plainview, Hale County, Texas subject to
the following stipulations:
1)
That there be provided a 15' building setback line along
Fresno Street
2)
That the requirement for provision of an alley be waived
due to the precedent set by previous adjacent development
and the presence of the drainage way at the rear of the
property which separates it from other property which an
alley might serve.
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed said Preliminary Plat
and the recommendations of the Planning and Zoning Commission and
find that said plat revised to include the stipulations recommended
by the Planning and Zoning Commission complies With the intent of
the Subdivision Regulations of the City of Plainview.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council of
the City of Plainview, Texas that the Preliminary Plat of City
Addition, Unit No. 2, PlainvieW, Hale-County, Texas, be approved
subject to the stipulations recommended by the Planning and Zoning
Commission and that the Final Plat of said addition incorporate all
of said stipulations.

hereby certify that the above Resolution was adopted by the
Plainview City Council on December 22, 1987.
