The election will be held Saturday, th May 4. th Early voting for all races will be held at Plainview City Hall, located at 202 W. 5 Street. Voting hours will be 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. th Voting on election day (May 4) will be held from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Polling locations include: o City District 1 - Ash Program, 908 Ash St. o City District 2 - City Hall, 202 W. 5th Street o City District 3 - Plainview Collegiate High School, 1707 W. 11th St o City District 4 - Central Elementary School, 800 Ennis St o City District 5 - Garland Street Church of Christ, 700 Garland St. o City District 6 - Senior Citizens Center, 1107 Smyth St o City District 7 - Plainview Intermediate, 2501 Joliet Mayor election is a City-wide election. The mayor serves a four-year term of office and is eligible to serve two consecutive terms (eight years). Districts slated for election include Districts Five, Six and Seven. City Council Members serve a four-year term of office and are eligible to serve two consecutive terms (eight years). All three district members will be sworn in after the election has been certified. District Five area includes the northwest corner of the City, District Six includes the middle of the City and District Seven covers the north area of the City.
