City of Plainview Fire Department Announces
Promotion of Kevin Walls
The City of Plainview Fire Department Chief Bobby Gipson recently
announced the promotion of Kevin Walls to Lieutenant.
Walls, a six-year member of the City of Plainview Fire Department,
served as a Firefighter and Equipment Operator prior to his most
recent promotion. A graduate of the Amarillo College Fire Academy,
he is married to Kaitlin, and they have one son, Konner.
The City of Plainview Fire Department was organized in 1909, and the
department took over emergency medical services (EMS) in 1985.
The Department provides fire suppression, fire prevention, and
emergency medical services for the City of Plainview and surrounding
areas.
